What is a bank's COMPE code?
It is the three-digit number that identifies the institution in the clearing house. It is 341 for Itaú, 237 for Bradesco, 001 for Banco do Brasil. It appears on the boleto, in DDA and in the bank app.
What is the ISPB?
It is the eight-digit identifier used in the Brazilian Payment System, the basis of Pix. It does not change with mergers and has been replacing COMPE in new integrations.
